Cypress Hills Ascend Charter Middle Schools
Overview
Cypress Hills Ascend Middle opened in its brand-new location at 2840 Atlantic Avenue for grades 5-7. The school will grow to enroll students in grade 8 for school year 2025-26. The school offers Dance, Computer Science and Physical Education. Students also have leadership opportunities through student government representatives by grade.

Ascend as a network outperformed all community school districts in NY State exams for the ’22-’23 school year for both ELA and Math. In addition, as a network we outperformed all NYC boroughs in Math!
