Learning at Ascend does not stop when the school day ends.

Across our middle schools, after-school programs give students the opportunity to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with their peers in meaningful ways. Whether on the court or on the stage, students are discovering new passions and growing in confidence.

Teamwork on the Court

At Central Brooklyn Ascend Middle School (CBAMS) and Canarsie Ascend Middle School (CAMS), students are hard at work during basketball practice. These sessions are about more than preparing for games. They build discipline, teamwork, and school pride as students learn to work together toward a common goal.
