Ashley High manages student recruitment, enrollment, and regulatory affairs for Ascend Learning. High came to Ascend from Democracy Prep Public Schools, where she served as special projects coordinator, associate director for logistics, and special projects manager. Previously, she taught English as a second language, first at I.S. 192 Piagentini-Jones in the Bronx and later at Bronx Writing Academy. High began her career as a Teach for America (TFA) corps member. A graduate of Alma College, she earned her teacher certification through TFA at Pace University.
