Kevin Barry manages and maintains the technological infrastructure for the Ascend Learning network of schools to support the Ascend design and ensure teachers and students stay connected. Barry began his career working with Fortune 500 companies, designing, installing and configuring systems for trade shows and corporate events throughout North America, which required delivering quick and innovative solutions. He also worked in theatre for many years as a master carpenter and technician in venues ranging from community theatres to the Metropolitan Opera. Barry was involved with educational theatre tours with Periwinkle National Theatre, serving as a company manager for a production for at-risk youths dealing with substance abuse. He graduated cum laude from the New York Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
